ChartAI Major Product Release: May 8, 2026

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ChartAI Launches New Desktop Experience and Introduces Free Forever Subscription Plan for Dental Professionals

Vancouver, B.C. — May 8, 2026 — General Technologies Inc. today announced the launch of a major update to ChartAI, its AI-powered clinical documentation platform built specifically for dental professionals. The new desktop experience introduces a redesigned user interface, expanded functionality, and new subscription plans, including a Free Forever tier that allows dental professionals to start using ChartAI at no cost.

The release represents a significant evolution of the ChartAI platform, moving beyond basic AI-assisted note generation toward a more flexible, workflow-focused experience for dental teams. “Our goal with ChartAI has always been simple: help dental professionals spend less time on documentation and more time focused on patient care,” said Mike Wood, CEO of General Technologies. “This new release gives users a cleaner interface, more control, and easier access to the tools they need every day. Making ChartAI more accessible is a natural extension of that mission. We believe every dental professional should be able to chart better, with less effort, and our Free Forever plan helps make that possible.”

The updated ChartAI desktop experience includes a refreshed interface, improved navigation, expanded template functionality, and new tools designed to support common dental workflows. Users can now view enhanced charting templates, generate referral letters, create consultation reports, and access support directly within the app.

Custom template creation is also being introduced as part of the new experience, giving dental professionals more flexibility to tailor ChartAI to their preferred charting style and clinical workflows.

Alongside the new interface, ChartAI is introducing updated subscription plans:

Free Forever: Designed for users who want to try ChartAI and continue using core functionality at no cost.

Pro: Built for dental professionals and practices that want expanded usage, more flexibility, and access to advanced charting features.

Ultimate: An upcoming tier designed to support connected practice management software functionality and deeper workflow automation.

This development is part of ChartAI’s broader strategy to become a central productivity platform for dental professionals, starting with clinical documentation and expanding into the downstream workflows that begin with the patient record. “Dental charting is only the beginning,” said Wood. “The patient record is the heart of the practice. Once that information is clean, structured, and usable, there is a major opportunity to help dental teams streamline everything from treatment planning to referrals, insurance workflows, follow-up, and patient communication.”

The new desktop experience is launching first, with an updated mobile app experience expected to follow in the coming weeks. Existing users will be automatically transitioned into the new experience and subscription structure.
