We recently shared an article detailing our successful launch year—2015 saw the launch of our platform, significant national media coverage, the expansion of our team and the completion of two deals, both of which exceeded their funding goals. With a big year behind us, we anticipate an even bigger year ahead, as we continue to grow the New Capital Market from coast to coast.
A major focus for FrontFundr in 2016 will be national expansion. We have deals in progress on the east coast, and our team is spending increasingly more time in Ontario. With the startup exemption and crowdfunding exemption both coming into effect later this month, we anticipate major momentum in the provinces that these regulations will impact. With that in mind, the FrontFundr team is strongly focused on expanding our national reach in 2016.
With a new year and new focus upon us, we’ve put together a vision and mission to help guide us toward ongoing expansion of the New Capital Market. These statements embody who we are and what drives us as a company.
FrontFundr’s vision functions as our North Star—it provides guidance and inspiration as to what we are focused on achieving over the long term.
- FrontFundr’s Vision: To be an inclusive capital market empowering the greater investor community and promising companies to drive innovation and economic growth.
FrontFundr’s mission reflects every facet of our business—the nature of our products and services, our marketplace position, and our community. It helps clarify what our business does and what our goals and objectives are.
- FrontFundr’s Mission: We give investors access to screened companies that we guide and support through the funding cycle—growing the New Capital Market for all.
These new statements help us precisely define what drives our company and our team, both in the short and long term. Providing access to vetted investment opportunities, driving innovation, and expanding the New Capital Market remain at the heart of FrontFundr, which are all reflected in our new vision and mission.
