Venture Capital Tax Credit

BC resident tax payers: invest a minimum of $1,500 in FrontFundr and get a 30% refundable tax credit.

For example: Invest $2,500, and get $750 cash back on your tax return.

So if you’re a BC resident thinking of investing $1,000 or more, consider increasing your total investment by 30%. Your overall net cash amount paid for the investment will be the same as your originally intended amount but , you will end up with 30% more equity! We will take care of the paperwork to get you your credit certificate.

This credit is designed to encourage BC residents to make equity investments in BC small businesses to help them grow.

Earn up to $75 for each investor you refer

Invite a friend to pledge an investment in FrontFundr and you will get up to $75 in investment credit once they make their investment.

For every investor you refer to invest in FrontFundr, you will receive a FrontFundr credit equal to 5% of that person’s total investment, up to $75. This credit can be used towards any future investment on the FrontFundr platform for up to 1 year.

RRSP & TFSA Eligible

That’s right, you can invest in FrontFundr through your RRSP and TFSA.

Any Canadian that invests a minimum of $10,000 in FrontFundr, has the ability for us to structure your investment in an RRSP or TFSA account. We have teamed up with Western Pacific Trust Company (WPTC) who will hold your investment in trust and take care of the paperwork. WPTC account fees will apply.
